Yes, AIRIA’s fragrance intensity ranges from 1-10. You get to choose how intense the scent is throughout your home.
The power button turns the entire device on. The +/- buttons on the device control the fragrance intensity. You can also turn the light on by holding the power button down for 3 seconds. Access the AIRIA app for full control of your device including setting schedules.
On the physical device you can turn the fragrance and light on or off as well as select the fragrance intensity. In order to take more actions, like adjusting the light color, you will need to log into the AIRIA app, which you can download below via the App Store or Google Play.

Yes. You can use voice to control features that are available on your AIRIA. Here are a few utterances or phrases you can use. In order for this to work on your device, replace “First Air Freshener” with the name of your AIRIA device.

Since the AIRIA can be controlled by many different methods (AIRIA app, AIRIA schedules, Alexa app, Alexa voice, Alexa routines, and physical device), the last action that is taken will be the action that takes priority. For example, if you have the AIRIA running then kick off an Alexa routine that includes different AIRIA settings, the Alexa routine settings will be present on the device.

The best place for AIRIA is on a counter, table, or shelf along the outer edge of your room. It does depend on your home’s layout. We recommend trying a few different locations to determine what works best with your home’s air flow. For best results, place AIRIA away from your home’s air return and keep the area in front of AIRIA clear of objects (12”-24”).
What do I need in order to set up my AIRIA device?In order to get started with AIRIA, you will need the device, plug and a fragrance cartridge. If you want to use the AIRIA app, you will need to download the app from the App Store. In order to log into the AIRIA app, you will also need an Amazon account.

You do not need the AIRIA app to use the AIRIA device. However, in order to access your device’s full functionality (like scheduling and voice control, for example) you’ll need to download the AIRIA app.
No. You do not need an Alexa device to control AIRIA. You will need to download and set up the Alexa app if you want to use the AIRIA app.
AIRIA might leave a tiny amount of residue on the floor, especially if it is under an air vent that is blowing air downwards. If you notice this, move to another location away from the air return vent.
You do not need to clean the device.
This may happen for a variety of reasons. First, refresh the app to ensure that it is showing the latest information. Then double-check that your Wi-Fi network is still online. You can check this on your mobile device. Also, be sure to verify that the correct Wi-Fi network is set up in the Alexa app. If you need additional help, please contact the, Customer Support team.
In order to connect your AIRIA device to Wi-Fi, you will need to go through the Amazon Alexa app. If it’s your first time downloading the app, you will set up your Wi-Fi through the setup process. If you have already set up the Alexa app and need to change your Wi-Fi network, you will need to log in to the Alexa app and update the settings. If you need additional help, please contact Customer Support.
Yes, AIRIA must be plugged in to operate.
Open the Alexa app.Select “Devices” and then “All Devices”.
From the device list, select the AIRIA device that needs the Wi-Fi network updated.
Select the gear icon to open the device settings.
Next to “Wi-Fi Network” select “Change”.
Follow the on-screen prompts in the Alexa app to update your Wi-Fi settings. Note: when you get to the step that directs you to hold the power button, you will need to hold both the power button and the “-” button at the same.
After 10 seconds, power button and +/- button will light up.
Once this happens, select the “Next” button in the Alexa app.
If you are having trouble connecting your device through the Alexa app, try unplugging the device and plugging it back in. Then start the process in the Alexa app. You will need to start the connection process within 5 minutes of plugging the device in. If you are still having some issues, try using the user-guided setup mode to connect your device.

f you are having trouble setting up your device, you can connect your device using the User Guide Setup (UGS). UGS is not enabled by default. To put the AIRIA device in UGS mode, follow the steps below:
1. Ensure that the device is plugged in, powered on and has a cartridge inserted.
2. Open the Alexa app.
3. Select to add a device.Select Air Freshener as the category and then AIRIA as the brand.
4. On the next screen, select “Next” to allow the Alexa app to use your device’s Bluetooth & camera.
5. On the next screen, select “Next” to connect your device.
6. On the barcode screen, select the “Don’t Have A Barcode?” text
7. Follow the directions on the screen with one additional add: when you hold the power button you will also need to hold the “-” button at the same time.
8. Hold for 10 seconds.
9. Select “Next”.
10. Continue to follow the on-screen steps to provision your device.
I have tried several things to resolve device issues. Is there a way to reset my device?Yes, performing a hard reset may resolve connection issues with your device. Note that once you reset your device, you will need to set it up again using the Amazon Alexa app.
To perform a hard reset
1. Power off the device by pressing the power button on top of your AIRIA device.
2. With the device plugged in, but powered off, hold down the Power button and the Plus button at the same time.
3. Continue holding for about 5 seconds or until you see the buttons flash.
4. Once you see the flashing buttons, your device has been reset.
5. To set up your AIRIA device again, open the AIRIA app, then follow the prompts to add your device to the Amazon Alexa app.
The life of the cartridge is dependent on number of hours you run AIRIA and the fragrance intensity you prefer. Cartridges last 600 hours. This is about 3-4 months on average.
The precision with which AIRIA disperses fragrance in your home means that the fragrance will be just as strong at the end of the device.
As long as the AIRIA device is on, the scent will remain consistent at the determined fragrance intensity level for the entire time that the device is on.
AIRIA has 32 micro nozzles that releases droplets that are ~20 microns in size. These small droplets are light enough to float in the air and spread throughout the home by traveling via your home’s natural air flow.
Yes, you can switch fragrances whenever you desire. AIRIA will remember how much is remaining so it will accurately let you know how much is left. Store cartridges in a plastic bag to protect the ribbon on the bottom of the cartridge.

First, remove the plastic protector at the bottom of the cartridge. Then insert the cartridge into the top of the device. Make sure you press the cartridge until it clicks into place.
Press on the indentation on the top of the cartridge while it is in the device. It should pop up so that you can remove it from the device.
There may be a connection issue. Try taking the cartridge out and re-inserting it. If it still doesn’t recognize the cartridge,

The orange clip is made of polyamide plastic and can be recycled if your area accepts Plastic #7. If #7 plastic is not accepted in your local area, feel free to send it back to us with your empty cartridge and we will recycle it for you.
In order to add a new AIRIA device, you will first need to download the AIRIA app and follow the instructions. You will need an Amazon account and the Alexa app.
The AIRIA only stays in pairing mode for 5 minutes so if it has been plugged in for longer than that, try unplugging and plugging the device back in. If you are still having issues, call our Customer Support for more help.
With the AIRIA app you can take full advantage of all of AIRIA’s features. Adjust fragrance intensity, view percentage of scent remaining in the fragrance cartridge, turn the light on/off, change the light color, create and edit schedules, turn off the entire device, enable/disable notifications and add new AIRIA devices.
Schedules allow you to determine when the AIRIA will be on or off without you having to be there to adjust the AIRIA. You can set schedules for any day of the week and with any combination of light and scent.
Creating a schedule is easy. Open the AIRIA app and select the device you want to create a schedule for. Then select the schedule tab. From here, select to “Create New Schedule”. You can then give the schedule a name, desired days of the week, start and end time, fragrance status & intensity and light status & brightness. Select to “Save New Schedule.”
From the scheduling tab, select the schedule you want to edit from the list. Make the desired updates and select to "Save Schedule Changes.”
The time zone of your AIRIA device is set automatically by your AIRIA app. You can manually change this setting at any time. To do so, tap on the Settings icon on the right upper corner of your device list screen, then select Time Zone. Pick your time zone from the available list. Tap on the “Change Time Zone” button to set your new time zone.
If you have an Alexa device, like an Echo, you can tell Alexa to adjust the settings on your AIRIA with a simple voice command. For example, “Alexa, set AIRIA’s fragrance intensity to 7.”
Also, remember that you can use the Alexa app (which you used to set up your AIRIA) for voice commands. To do this you just need to open the Alexa app and give Alexa permission to access your microphone. You can do this by selecting the blue icon on the home screen and following the directions.
You can also use the Alexa app without voice control to turn AIRIA on/off, adjust the light brightness, light color, light on/off and fragrance intensity.

The Alexa app is required to setup the AIRIA app because we are using a toolset called the Alexa Connect Kit, which means that the AIRIA has Alexa built into it. AIRIA utilizes the barcode scanning technology in the Alexa app in order to correctly pair the AIRIA device to the app that you downloaded on your phone. You only need the Alexa app for the initial set up and any troubleshooting. After that you can solely use the AIRIA app.

Your AIRIA warranty starts on the day of purchase and runs for 2 years. If your AIRIA product is defective during the warranty period, we will replace it free of charge. The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage such as scratches, or damage caused by:

The product being tampered with
Improper use
Repairs carried out by agents not authorized by AIRIA
